- 976dds bad board flop us, start with a check.
- ip checks back - now we can start piling money in. if he shoves we are snapping it
- ip calls 4s turn, river 5d - it's a rough one. our hand is prob x/f
- ip bets b50, we fold, he shows AJss bluff (spades obv most likely combo to take his line)
[note to myself - some 200nl regs capable of running this bluff]
- 3 to a str8, two overs, bdfd = we have to call flop cbet
- if turn goes x/x, we're firing b75 bluff river
- HS thought process alert:
plenty of bluffs for us here - he can call some pretty dusty hands (!)
treating it [the game play] in an organised way makes the whole game less about someone trying to outsmart someone else (frees up bandwidth, removes emotional load)
we don't get to (b/x/b) stab the river again (you don't get stabbing allowance when just calling pre)
