calling low PP vs 3bet ip, 100bb deep
-> 0 EV ish play, changes if we have an edge on opponent.
- calling 33 in BU v BB 3bet, flop comes KT8r - fine to float vs B33, with the intention of bluffing when checked to. (not trying to show down 33).
- no interaction with the board, doesn't block his folding range - 99, JJ, AJ,,
adjusting to a whale pre-flop - opening AK to 10bb or w/e .. then the art of it is, which SPR you going for ? AK is going to miss most of the time.. AK has 25% equity when you miss flop - so don't make it that when he makes a pair and shoves , you need 30% to call
Bet sizing - general structure of betting strategies:
SB v BB on Q84r, turn is a 2d brick
after betting small on the flop, we get a brick turn - we are generally looking to catch up with our big hands (because on the flop everything bets small) - we go for really big bets, more polarised (Q7o is supposed to check)
Betting B60 with this hand should be a conscious exploit, not a default strategy
